1. Change: In the IEP Goals and Objectives form, clicking on either the Edit Objectives or Edit Strategies brings a double edit-box windows like that in the Initial Form, the Student Strengths and Areas of Concern.
2. New: In the IEP Goals and Objectives form, there is now a Subtitle edit box that may be optionally used to describe the category of Goals and Objectives being reported.
3. New: In the IEP Goals and Objectives form, when editing the Progress/Review category, there is now a dropdown of evaluative statements that may be clicked on to become part of the Progress/Review text.
4. New: In the IEP Goals and Objectives form, in the Curriculum Areas dropdown, if you edit or add text, you are given the opportunity to save that text so that it will be available on future occasions. There is a maximum of ten lines of text. These are also available to edit in the Utilities section.
5. Changed: In the IEP Goals and Objectives form, the footer had been adjusted from 2.3 cm to 1.5 cm giving slightly more room for text.
6. New: Instead of the resource.dat file with its 20 data fields, SilhouetteResource will now accept Master.dat (Turbo.dat) files with its 10 fields. (With the addition of feature 17 below, this addition is no longer of critical importance for eSIS schools.)
7. New: ESL Matrix reports: added the ability to print as letter-sized reports. Unfortunately, however, many printers are unable to scale legal to letter sized paper. If the printer is unable to do so, a message will be presented in SilhouetteResource. The alternative method, involving doPDF (a free pdf creator program) and Foxit Reader (a free pdf reader and printer) may be used to accomplish the task, though with greater effort. A tutorial is available at duetsoftware.ca.
8. Changed: automatic references to the floppy drive have been deleted from SilhouetteResource. Most users are no longer transporting their files on floppy disk, preferring to use USB drives or email.
9. Changed: The Import and Export windows have been redesigned to give better direction for use.
10. Fixed: it is now possible to use classlist files from a Silhouette4 folder to create SilhouetteResource student files using a Template (GEP).
11. Fixed: In the IEP Goals and Objectives form, if the font sizes for the printing of the form have been lost, they will be recreated, avoiding a fatal error.
12. New: AIP forms - upon saving an AIP file, you will be give the option of saving a new file with the current date or overwriting the file with its original date.
13. Changed: In the IEP Goals and Objectives form, in the printout of the form, the box containing the Priority Goals text will expand to allow all the text to be shown.
14. New: In ESL Matrix Additional Comments edit window, there is available a Quicktext dropdown as an alternative to storing text in a comment base. This text is editable via SilhouetteResource Utilities.
15. New: new form - ESL/LAC Student Plan and Timetable form
16. New: Resource.dat files and Master.dat files created with TurboSchool or eSIS are encrypted when imported into SilhouetteResource.
17. New: SilhouetteResource will now import eSIS generated STUD_DEMO.TXT files (schoolwide student demographics) and extract data to create an encrypted Resource.edat file.
